He nearly let go of the steering wheel as he moved his hands about sporadically. I refused to look at them. Through the corner of my tear filled eyes, I could see his mouth move quickly, it kept getting wider as the car sped faster. He was no doubt yelling at me. I braced myself as he frantically weaved in and out of traffic. The car was out of control...he was out of control.
I glanced at him, his face was turning red now and I could see veins in his forehead. He turned the car sharply and I slid in my seat. I caught myself but my head hit the window hard. Pain radiated through my skull as he grabbed my arm and roughly yanked me too him.
He kept one hand on the steering wheel as he violently shook me. When I still wouldn't engage with him he slapped my face.
