Part 6
Night

Jesep mulled over the information he'd acquired, debating how he wanted to play this out.

After the soldiers had helped him back to his room and into bed, they'd just left. He was pleased not to be handcuffed again and to have a moment to think. He supposed he was no longer considered a threat, for now, as long as he "cooperated."

Of course, he had no intention of cooperating. Clearly he needed to get out of here, whether Atoe and the things he had said were real or not, Jesep did not take being caged lightly. He needed to find a way out of here or at least get to a phone. If he could get to a phone he'd contact- Jesep paused letting out a deep sigh, he realized he couldn't call Grady.

The last time he saw him, he'd been hurled out a window from the eleventh floor. Jesep doubted he had survived, then again things weren't always what they seemed as of late. Still, even if he had managed to survive, Jesep wasn't sure what position he was in. No, if he only got one chance to make a phone call, he needed to it count. He'd contact his top ranking military connection. He'd get them to cut through the red tape and get him out of here or at least the truth of what was really going on and perhaps Genoa's location...

Of course he'd have to use up a favor, a favor he'd been hoping to save for a rainy day but he supposed this counted. He rubbed his jaw trying to think, how he could make his call. First thing was first, he needed out of this room, perhaps when they came to test him. Then he needed to find an opening, he'd excuse himself to the bathroom. He doubted they'd let him go alone but maybe he could size up one of the soldiers and see if he, was up for taking a life changing bribe. Jesep groaned, wishing he'd had a cigarette once more.

He saw someone step up to his door out of the corner of his eye. He didn't turn his head. They watched him through a small viewing window on the reinforced door. He saw them move in and out of view several times and then they were gone. Was it time for his testing? Was it something else? A pop went off, he wondred what it was? A few minutes passed and the door to his room opened. Jesep swallowed, wondering why Atoe hadn't told him someone was coming.

He looked up from his thoughts to see Survayant Rogers and two soldiers but there was something off about them. Survayant Rogers body language was different, her smile seemed off. The soldiers also seemed quiet similar as if they were clones of one another. Survayant Rogers, sauntered up to him and then suddenly became the nurse, he'd seen earlier. Jesep tilted his head as she then became Esma.

Her smile got even wider as she seductively said "Surprise." While most people would have been agasp by what they had just seen, Jesep found himself rather annoyed. Esma pouted at his lack of a reaction. "Not happy to see me?"

Jesep sighed, "Well discuss "this" later, just get me out of here!"

"Fine," said Esma. She turned into a solider went back into the hall and returned with a wheel chair. Jesep painfully moved himself into it as she held it still. He noted that the other soldier made no attempt to assist him. He wondered if they were real or not. Once he got back in the chair, he broke into a coughing fit.

Esma looked at him concerned, "You didn't take your stone off right?"

"No," he said.

"Good," said Esma, "Cause without it you could die, like really die."

"Good to know," said Jesep. He instinctively held his chest, feelings it's presence. He wondered just what was this stone? What did Esma know about it? He had questions but knew now was not the time.

Esma wheeled him out of the room and into the hall. The soldiers followed in near unison behind them. He assumed Esma was getting him out of here. As they moved passed several rooms he asked. "Is Genoa in one of these rooms?"

"No," said Esma with a sigh, "She's downstairs."

"Where?" asked Jesep. "What is her condition?"

Esma let out another sigh as they moved to the elevator, they got in and she pushed a button to go down. "Relax, she's secured. We'll meet up with her later, right now we've got something more important to do,"

"Like what?" Jesep hissed noticing they were going down instead of up. "Just where are you taking me?"

"A little trust," said Emsa, "Just sit tight, You'll get answers soon enough."

When the elevator got to it's floor, the soldiers suddenly disappeared along with Esma and himself. Jesep lifted his hands, staring at them, he knew they were still there, he could feel them and yet his eyes told him they and the rest of his body were gone. The elevator doors opened and Esma wheeled them out. There were several soldiers standing guard, they looked at the elevator doors curiously but didn't appear to see Jesep and Esma as they passed by.

Esma pushed Jesep down a long hall and then turned a corner. She quickly jerked his wheel chair seeing several soldiers coming. She positioned them so that they were out of the soldiers way as they passed. Jesep assumed now, this...whatever Emsa was doing was only visual. Perhaps some sort of illusion. Wind, time, and now illusion, the list of abilities were just adding up.

Esma took them to another elevator as the lights flickered on and off. They went down several more floors and he watched her pull out a security card, to open the elevator doors. He notice small flecks of blood on the card and that the picture on the ID...was not her own. From the elevator they moved down another long hall. She used the card once again, when they came to a large set of sealed doors.

They opened and Emsa wheeled him into a large room. In the center of the room there was a glass cage. Inside the cage, he saw Grady sleeping on a cot. Esma stopped Jesep's wheel chair a few feet from the glass and locked it in place. She carefully tapped on the glass and Grady opened his eyes. He sat up on the cot and turned to look at her and then him.

Jesep realized he was visible once more. Grady stood and easily let himself out of the cage. He reached out to Esma and she took hold of his hand. For a moment the two stood very still, Grady closed his eyes and seemed to concentrate. After a moment or so he let go of Esma's hand and pulled back.

Esma closed her eyes, rolled her shoulders and moved her head from side to side, "It doesn't feel like much, this time."

"You want more, bring me more bodies" grumbled Grady.

Emsa folded her arms and rolled her eyes, "Whatever it should do for now. You've got maybe twenty minutes of loop left at best, make it count."

"You as well," said Grady.

Esma pushed her lips out, pouting for a moment before she morphed into Survayant Rogers once more. She gave Jesep a wink, turned and walked out of the room. He sat there for a moment and Grady quickly explained, "She has the power of illusion."

"Yes," said Jesep. "I gathered as much."

Grady nodded and asked, "How do you feel?"

Jesep rubbed his jaw and assumed they only had so long, from what Esma had said. He looked up at Grady and decided to get straight to the point, "Just who are you really and what is going on here?"

Grady looked down at him, with concern, "Do you still not know me? Are you still not awake?"

Awake thought Jesep, he didn't know how but he seemed to know what he meant. He moved his hand over his chest and willed the stone to rise up. Grady's eyes fixated on it, for a moment his expressionless face almost looked happy.

"Yes," said Grady. "At last"

"I'm still at a loss," said Jesep, plainly.

"It may take some time," said Grady. "It depends on various factors but you should start to remember soon enough,"

"Remember what exactly?" asked Jesep. His voice cracked on the last work as he began to wheeze and then cough once again. Several fleck of dirt entered his mouth as he broke into another coughing fit. Grady reached out to touch him but Jesep jerked away. He wasn't exactly sure what Grady's touch did but after witnessing him touch Esma, he now knew it did something.

Grady left his hand in the air as Atoe whispered, "Let him help us."

"Can you hear that?" rasped Jesep, still recovering from his cough. "The shadow."

"No, only you can hear the shadows call." said Grady. "You are their King."

"King," Jesep wheezed, his eyes glistened with the thought, he was the Shadow King? Yes, it sounded oddly familiar.

"Please sir, allow me to touch you. It would seem you're still recovering from your injuries. My ability allows me to manipulate energy, I can help you recover faster."

Grady offered out his hand once more but Jesep waved him off. He shook his head, coughed a few more times and then gathered up his spit. He turned his head to the side and released the dirty spit onto the ground. He breathed in deeply through his nose, swallowed and then said. "Tell me EVERYTHING and then I will decide."

Grady pulled his hand back, he looked pained but dropped down to one knee before Jesep and bowed, "I am Eyo, your ever loyal servant and you are Urel."

Urel...Urel...Urel...the name somehow felt familiar as well. Jesep's eyes glossed over as he lost himself in thought for a moment. Grady lifted his head but stayed on his knee as he continued on, "Long ago, our souls were split in half." Grady lifted an orange stone from his chest, "Half our soul was locked in unbreakable stone and the other was to be reborn in flesh, for all eternity. Each life, I seek you out and assist with your plans."

"And just what plans are those?" asked Jesep, staring at Grady's stone.

"To rule absolute," said Grady, "Over everything, for all infinity. Only you know the true path."

"The true path..." Jesep repeated.

He lifted his own stone from his chest, rubbing it with his thumb, he peered into it, feeling something deep within him stir. Yes...yes...all his life he had been seeking, wealth, knowledge and power. He sought to start his own company that would one day dominate this world but what was a world, in the expanse of galaxies, the universes themselves.

Jesep peered deeply into his stone, at first it appeared to be solid black but now he could see there were levels, depths within, depths, beyond the darkness. He recall the voices once more as they called out to him in unison. "Yes..."

"There are others...voices inside my head." said Jesep.

"Yes, in your pursuit of ultimate power, you sought out others, with great abilities. They joined with you, becoming part of you. Only you can control them, use your will to combine them, to become whole once more."

"My will." Jesep whispered to himself "Whole..."

Jesep closed his eyes he felt as if he was on the edge, grasping at the fringes of something beyond. He wrapped his hand around the stone, clutching it tightly. He beckoned for Grady...Eyo to finally touch him. Eyo reach out his hand once more, and placed it over Jesep's hand as it held the stone. Jesep felt something... a strange sensation come over him, a surge of adrenaline, of power...energy. He could feel a deep echo within him. The stone released such darkness... it seeped into his hand and throughout his entire body.

He embraced it fully, realizing the stone was a part of himself that had been locked behind a great door. He could see it now within his mind. He placed his hand upon the intricate door and it unlocked, opening before him. His wounds began to heal as he stepped into the infinite library of his mind. There was so much knowledge, memories flowed into him, stretching back eons upon eons. He was immortal… eternal… everlasting!

Jesep felt the others stronger now, they came to him and he looked upon them, knowing who...what they were. Each of them was an aspect of himself, a part of his essence, a piece to his puzzle. They had always been inside him...waiting... He no longer resisted their voices, he sought to control them, to combine them once more as Eyo had said.

The whisper, Atoe. "Yesssss,"

The charismatic voice, Lexxie: "At last"

The dark, deep voice, Ezek: "Let it begin!"

They twisted around him and as he forged himself back together, his eyes darkened. When he was finally whole once more he began to moved about his internal library, so many books, so much to recall, to understand. Books began to float off the shelves, he reach out to take one but something at the back of his library caught his attention. He saw a wall of paintings, a shrine of his beloved, Keyoko. He could recall, their time together now...what she meant to him, his heart and loins swelled.

He smiled thinking back to the last moment they had shared. She had looked down upon him. He had asked her what she was. She had said she was cursed but she was wrong...WRONG, this wasn't a curse. NO, they weren't cursed, they were gods.

He opened his eyes, Eyo pulled his hand back as Urel rose from his wheel chair. He commanded the shadows to take it away, throwing it across the room. He pulled his hand from the stone and summoned his double sided ax. He admired it for a moment, the blades were pristine, he smiled to himself thinking he would soon fix that.

He looked around the room and then down at Eyo as he stared up at him with such devotion.

Urel motioned for him to rise, Eyo quickly got to his feet and pulled his morning star from his stone. Urel breathed in deeply as the shadows feverishly came to gathered around his feet. He looked down at them and thought it was time, he claimed what was his...everything.

Keyoko felt uneasy as she waited for Jeza to return. When she wasn't struggling with the thoughts of soldiers that passed by the interrogation room, she found her heart racing. It wasn't over...it wasn't over, she'd failed yet again. She'd failed in her surrender, failed to destroy him and now...now Jesep, Urel was awake.

She closed her eyes, images of Jesep looking up at her filled her mind. She'd been so angry, so full of emotions, fully awakened, he was the first person she saw and the last person she wanted to see. Everything he'd done to her, in the past, the present, it had all flowed through her and she'd cast him down into oblivion.

Almost all her life she had been waiting...dreading the day he would return and destroy her world. It never occurred to her that she could find him first and destroy his world before he'd even had the chance to awaken. She ran her fingers through her hair, feeling like an idiot now, for offering herself to him. He probably had no idea what was going on or who she really was. Perhaps Harold and she really could have gotten away. No, even if she'd somehow managed to convinced Harold to run, Gigi and Eyo were still awake, she doubted they'd let her get far. Plus there was also the shadow, "Atoe"

Keyoko perked up, recalling it's name now. "Yes," The shadow was Atoe but he was also Urel. They were one and the same, two sides of a coin only in Urel's case, he had a multitude of sides, he was more like a dice. She looked around the room for Atoe once again. She still couldn't see it, usually when it was just them, it would come out. Maybe it didn't want to be on caught on camera but Keyoko had a sinking feeling that wasn't it. She swallowed and called out to it. "Atoe, are you there? Please show me if you are there..."

Her eyes darted around the room, looking for a sign, sometimes he might wiggle a finger or make a shadow grow bigger or smaller to show his presence without alerting others. She looked for any sign of him but it was clear he was gone, returned to Urel no doubt. How long would it take Jesep to remember, to know how to use his abilities... to start conquering again.

She tapped her fingers on the table, trying not to think about it. She looked around the room, wishing there was a clock, some way to tell how long it had been. Given this was an interrogation room the lack of a clock was probably intentional. Keyoko intertwined her fingers, having a really bad feeling about this. The longer she waited the more she worried she got. An edge of fear and doubt began to build up within her. What if, Jeza hadn't gotten to him in time? What if he overpowered her? What if she encountered the others? Keyoko should have gone with her!

She took a deep breath and tried to reassure herself, Krissy was capable. She knew what she was doing, she'd get to Urel, shut his ass down and then she'd come back and see what, if anything she could do for Keyoko. She curled her fingers up knowing she was probably in a lot of trouble. She wasn't sure what Jeza would be able to do for her, what the consequences would be.

Her mind began to race, recalling other times she'd been in trouble...other punishments she'd endured. She tried to think of what the laws were here and what they might do to her. She dove into her current memories, realizing how sheltered...how loved she'd been. Harold had always taken care of everything...taken care of her…keeping the world at bay.

She clutch her chest thinking of him, of their life together. She held onto to her stone tightly, wanting to bury her feelings, her grief, her pain...it was all too much. She felt like she was going to be swallowed up by it all. Perhaps it was because it was so fresh. How long had it been a day maybe less. Her eyes began to water, she knew this pain, the memories of this life would always be with her. In time the pain would eventually combine with all the rest of her anguish and this life would become a distant memory just as all her other lives had.

She began to recall others she had lost, mothers, fathers, sisters, brothers, aunts, uncles grandparents, friends and... children. "Oh," Keyoko's eyes widened as her mind flicked with recollection. She could recall holding a sleeping baby in her arms, how it had felt to be a mother. Her heart filled with warmth recalling how she had watched her children grow, there had been so many over her lifetimes. So many...she had lost, so many she had watched grow old. She frowned as she recalled their loses, realized she'd never see any of her children again. She covered her mouth and began to choked on her tears.

Several minutes passed as she lost herself in grief. Eventually she perked up, hearing the soldiers thoughts as they recognized and saluted Jeza once again. She was on her way back, Keyoko sniffled and quickly wiped her eyes. She didn't want Jeza to see she'd been crying. She noticed the camera again and realizing she'd forgotten about it. The camera had probably captured everything. She felt so embarrassed, she'd broken down in front of it. At least this time she hadn't hurt anyone, when her emotions overwhelmed her, perhaps there was hope for her yet.

The door to the room opened and she turned to see Jeza. She quickly asked, "DID YOU GET HIM!"

"Yes," said Jeza. She didn't come into the room, she just stood in the doorway.

Keyoko's heart swelled with relief. She'd done it! She'd really done it! Jeza had succeeded where Keyoko had failed. She felt like she was on an emotional roller coasted. She'd been relieved and then, alarmed, worried, fearful, grief stricken and was now relieved once more. She let out a heavy sigh.

Jeza pulled from the doorway, a moment later a solider came into the room. Keyoko found herself getting overwhelmed as he unlocked her handcuffs. "I don't understand why we're unlocking her, isn't she dangerous. When is Balo getting back from his break? He should be doing this shit.' Once she was unlocked the soldier quickly left the room. Keyoko rubbed her wrists realizing Balo did get his break, after all.

Jeza stepped back into the doorway and beckoned Keyoko "Come, it's time to get you sorted out." Without another word, Jeza turned and pulled from the doorway once again. Keyoko got up from the table and quickly followed after her. When she got out of the room, she saw Jeza was already down the hall. She must have been in a hurry, Keyoko practically ran to keep up with her.

When they turned a corner in the hall, the soldiers were standing against the wall. There were at least half a dozen of them. They quickly saluted Jeza, when they saw Keyoko was uncuffed and running about, they pulled their weapons. There thoughts rushed to her head, 'She's trying to escape.' Milner was only to eager. "Is she trying to escape...this is my chance for my sister,"

"WEAPONS DOWN!" ordered Jeza. She sternly looked at Milner, "ALL OF YOU!"

They quickly returned their weapons and adjusted themselves though their minds were racing with questions. 'What is going on here?' 'Just what is she up to!' 'I thought this woman was a threat?''Why is she moving around on her own? What is going o-' Keyoko quickly felt overwhelm once again, she staggered and struggled to keep up with Jeza who wasn't waiting for her at all.

She tried to recall how she'd block the thoughts out once again, how she could retain her own thoughts over all the others. Her head surged with pain but she forced herself to focus on her feet...focus on getting to the elevator Jeza entered. Each step felt like she was taking five but she managed to get to the elevator nearly collapsing inside.

Jeza pushed the button to go down without a word. They road in silence as Keyoko recovered. Jeza seemed a bit cold...distant, she probably had a lot on her mind. Keyoko tried not to bother her, though she had a lot of questions. Where were they going? What was going to happen now? What charges might she be facing?

Keyoko sighed and began to sense the others more, Gigi, Eyo and Urel they were all here, she could feel them pouring into one another. It became hard to differentiate between them so much so that she couldn't even feel Jeza anymore. It was gonna take her some time to get used to this again. She ran her hand over her face and Luka crossed her mind. Wait... hadn't she sensed him earlier...or had that been a dream...a hopeful wish, she couldn't quiet recall but she knew she'd felt something about him earlier.

The elevator reached the floor Jeza had selected and the doors opened. Jeza stepped out and Keyoko followed her. When she saw a lot more soldiers standing guard, she didn't know how she was going to manage this. She considered telling Jeza, she was having trouble blocking others thoughts out. Maybe Jeza could order them to stand back like before. She knew that wasn't a long term solution but it was something until she could figure herself out.

Jeza cleared her throat as Keyoko was lagging behind. Keyoko hurried to keep up with her.

As they approached the first set of soldiers, she tried to prepared herself to be overwhelmed. Yet as they saluted Jeza she felt nothing. They passed with ease, thoughts were clear...her own. Had she managed to shut it off, without thinking...no that wasn't it.

She looked at the next set of soldiers they approached, they saluted Jeza. She nodded to them and they passed by...again with ease. Keyoko realized she couldn't hear their thoughts all all...not even whispers. She wondered if Jeza had warned them to keep their thoughts blank but she knew it was nearly impossible not to think. She should still hear something even if it was just them thinking about not thinking.

She bit her lip realizing she couldn't get a sense of who they were either. Even if she couldn't read their thoughts, she should be able to get some sense of them and yet there was nothing…soldier after soldier, it was like they weren't even...there. Keyoko froze realizing what was going on. These soldiers weren't real! She looked at the back of Jeza's head, realizing this wasn't Jeza, it was...Gigi. Hadn't she told Jeza to watch out for her, that she could look like anyone. She gasped realizing if this was Gigi...it meant Jeza had failed. Where was she now? Was she okay?

"Come on," called Gigi as she kept walking. She seemed eager to get where they were going. Keyoko stumbled back, realizing where they were going...she was no doubt taking her to him. Jesep... Urel, Keyoko's chest ached and her skin crawled thinking he was so close. She had to get away, had to get out of here! "I'm sorry" she stammered, "But I really need to use the restroom!"

Gigi stopped walking but didn't turn around. Keyoko realized she'd messed up yet again, Gigi was a master of languages, she could no doubt read the hesitated in Keyoko's words. She should have spoken with confidence or desperation not...fear- Keyoko felt a sudden shift in the hallway, though Gigi still stood with her back to Keyoko. She felt something moving a few feet away even though she didn't see it. She felt the slight breeze it created as it tried to pass her.

She realized Gigi was trying to get behind her, to what ends Keyoko didn't know but she wasn't having it. She quickly turned and blasted her with air. Gigi went flying back hitting the hallway wall. Her illusions all fell away as she got the air knocked out of her lungs. She became visible dropping, the gun she was holding.

For a moment Keyoko was able to see Gigi as she was and not as she wanted to appear. Her hair was a mess as well as her clothes. She looked tired, she was still beautiful but without all her illusions, she wasn't drop dead gorgeous as she had been when Keyoko had first seen her. She was reminded of that moment...watching her and her brother chatting. It pained her now.

Gigi caught her breath and then quickly turned back into Jeza's form, once more. She hissed "YOU FUCKING BITCH!"

Keyoko held her arms out, ready to attack her again but held back as much as she'd liked to rip the air from her lungs once again and smash her through a thousand walls, she needed to know what had happened to the real Jeza. "WHERE IS SHE! WHERE IS JEZA! WHAT HAVE YOU DONE WITH HER!"

Gigi laughed "Nothing compared to what HE is going to do to you KEYOKO!

Keyoko saw the gun disappear from the floor, out of the corner of her eye. Gigi was no doubt going to make a run for it. Keyoko pushed out her hand and shoved the gun further down the hall. Even though she couldn't see it, she could heard it as it dragged against the floor. Gigi tried to move but Keyoko pushed her back down with another burst of air, "DON'T EVEN THINK ABOUT IT! I WILL END YOU! DON'T FORGET WHAT I CAN DO IN THIS LIFE GIGI! I'M NOT WEAK! I'M NOT POWERLESS ANYMORE!"

Gigi let out an annoying cackle, she shook her head but stayed put. "Oh Keyoko it doesn't matter what you can or can not do. You'll always be nothing more then a fucking whore! The master is awake now and there is nothing you or anyone can do to stop him. He we will rise up! HE WILL TAKE THIS PATHETIC WORLD AS HIS OWN! THIS ENTIRE SYSTEM WILL FALL AT HIS FEET. MOST OF ALL! HE WILL HAVE HIS REVENGE UPON YOU! And I...HAH I shall stand beside him and watch with glee."

Keyoko swallowed her throat felt dry as images of the past flooded into her mind. She could recall being tightly bound, Urel looming over her, with a look of distain. The whip in his hand...She recalled the pain….upon pain, the agony...the shame. Gigi standing at his side, eager to assist him in any way that she could.

She knew Gigi was reading all of this, getting off on the pain she was causing. She cackled madly once more "Yes oh yes, you're so powerful Keyoko. You're nothing but a scared little girl, lashing out! Best run off to your brother now...oh right, HE'S DEAD!"

Keyoko's fear quickly turned to rage. It boiled over and she crushed Gigi into the wall. She could hear her ribs snapping. She cried out as Keyoko pushed more and more air pressure down upon her. She could feel Gigi squirm in pain and wanted to end her but Gigi manged to wheeze "Guess you'll ...never find her."

Keyoko pulled back recalling Jeza. What had Gigi done to her? She needed to focus, to find her "LAST CHANCE YOU CRAZY FUCKING BITCH! WHAT DID YOU DO TO HER! WHERE IS SHE!"

"What did I do,"Gigi wheezed as Keyoko lessened the pressure, "I...I...-STOP IT KEYOKO! PLEASE! HAVEN'T YOU HURT ENOUGH PEOPLE!" She screamed at the top of her lungs. Keyoko was surprised she had it in her, given the amount of pressure and pain she must be in.

"WHAT," said Keyoko pulling back.

Gigi started to shake and cry raising her hands to defend herself. Keyoko realized she was preforming, but for who? Keyoko heard a pop, felt a rush of air zoom past her and then another pop. She felt the air zoom past her once more and turned, seeing a soldier firing on her. She hadn't sensed him coming. She couldn't read him or his thoughts. She knew he was real but he wasn't like the others, he was different…different like them and yet-"

A bullet tore into her arm and all the thoughts in her head were replaced with sharp pain. She cried out clutching her arm as she felt Gigi moving. It was all happening so fast, another bullet whizzed by. The solider probably thought Keyoko was hurting Krissy. She didn't want to hurt anyone else but there wasn't time to explain, Krissy wasn't Krissy. If Gigi overpower her-

Another bullet grazed her side, she stopped thinking, and snapped into action. She took up Gigi as another bullet grazed her neck. She threw Gigi into the line of fire. The soldier kept firing, hitting her with several bullets. He immediately stopped firing and cried out, "NO! KRISSY! NO!"

Keyoko could hear the agony in his voice as Gigi fell to the floor, somehow she was still holding Jeza's form together. The solider glared at Keyoko, turned his gun on her once more. She threw her hand up, sending him and his gun flying back. As he hit the ground hard, he had the air knocked out of his lungs. He dropped his gun sliding several feet as he passed out.

Keyoko stood in the hallway, her heart pounding in her chest, her arm surging with pain. She clutched it as Gigi screamed from her own bullet wounds. Keyoko wasn't sure where she had gotten hit but it served her right. She must have seen this guy coming and distracted Keyoko, hoping he'd shoot her to death.

She was lucky he wasn't a very good shot- The lights in the hall way flicked and turned red. Alarms roared out through the entire base. The soldier was wearing a radio, it blared out with gunfire and shouting "BACK UP! WE NEED BACK UP! HOLDING FLOOR VITO, ZATA FLOOR MEGA FLOOR HAS BEEN WIPED OUT. REPEAT! THE LOWER LEVELS HAVE FALLEN! PRISONERS HAVE ESCAPE! LOCK DOWN THE BASE! LOCK DOWN TH-"

He cut off, Keyoko heard more screaming and gun fire before the radio cut out. She stumbled back, realizing Urel's reign of terror had begun. She looked at the hall way walls, the shadows were all moving in the direction, Gigi had been taking her. They were no doubt going to meet their King. Keyoko trembled feeling Urel stronger then ever...she could just make him out from all the others. She knew if she could feel him, he could feel her. He'd be coming for her...for his revenge...

She needed to think, she needed to think, she needed to move! She quickly ran past Gigi and the soldier. She needed to find Jeza, maybe something if anything could still be done though she doubted it, at this point she was just delaying the inevitable…
