Tremble

Shyla trembled as she slowly climbed into bed. She was in a sort of shock...almost disbelief.

Her mind kept racing. She struggled to make sense of things, to find answers...reasons for such brutality. She wanted to get out of here but she was also exhausted, physically, mentally and emotionally. She just wanted to curl up in bed and forget today every happened. No! She wanted to forget this entire weekend.

As her head hit the pillow she felt so ashamed. It hadn't been easy, getting back to the room. Every step was painful and she found herself on edge. She didn't get lost but jerked at every sound or sudden movement. Once she was inside her room, she shut the door, then put her back to it. She slid down to the floor and realized her underwear was gone. She wondered if it was still there, in that room or if...if he had it. She cringed thinking about it. She wrapped her arms around herself and closed her eyes.

For several minutes she just cried against the door. She felt sick and dirty, so fucking dirty. She felt as if this was somehow her fault. When she tried to make sense of things... tried to tell herself it wasn't her fault, the weekend she'd spent with him, crossed her mind. She had sold herself to him, flirted with him and had sex with him countless times. She had even cum. She thought she was going to throw up.

She just wanted to peal off her skin. She managed to get to her feet and went to the bathroom. She got angry then. It should have been at him but it was at herself. At first she was angry that she had let something like this happen. Then she was angry that she could ever think such a thing. She hadn't wanted this to happen! She hadn't 'let' him do anything! She had said no. She had made it absolutely clear, how she felt and he'd done it anyway...he'd raped her!

She broke down again as she turned on the bathtub. She just wanted to disappear but would settle for getting cleaned. She didn't wait for the tub to fill. She tore off her dress and threw it into the trash before she climbed into the water and began madly scrubbing everywhere. She wanted to wash it all away, to remove every trace of him.

After a while she fell still and began to think of all the awful things Rotham had said. 'He was just collecting a debt, she was a whore, she should just pretend and think of it as business.' She smashed her hands into the water, sending some over the edge of the top and onto the floor. Again she felt sick. She...she couldn't get clean enough. She scrubbed again, then undid her hair, washing it three times before she sunk under the water shaking it out. She stayed under longer then she needed to, almost not wanting to come up. She just wanted to wash it all away...everything felt so...so raw.

When she came up for air, she realized the water was too hot and she'd scrubbed herself too hard. Her skin was bright red and felt like it was on fire, but she didn't care. She wrapped her arms around her knees and just sat in the water until her skin pruned and the water turned cold. She kept thinking this was her fault.

She told herself she had fought, that she had kicked and screamed. She knew she had hurt him. She had done everything...EVERYTHING she could have done! Yet she hadn't tried to kill him or rip his dick off. She had just wanted to get away. She should have gone for his genitals and squeezed. She squeezed her hands imagining how it would feel to crush him with her bare hands.

She dunked herself under the water yet again, letting it flow over her. She had done all she could to rid herself of him, but still as she laid there, she could feel him in her core. It came in flashes once more. Their argument, her struggles, him tearing into her, forcing himself inside her, raping her and releasing his seed. He was the only man ever to do so...twice now. She vowed he would not get a third time! He would not touch her again!

She sat up in the water then pulled her hair behind her. The water was murky now, from all the soaps and shampoos she had uses. There were tinges of pinks and reds but the water was mostly white. She still felt disgusting, but knew she couldn't stay in here forever. When she got out of the tub, she didn't bother drying off, she just put on a large fluffy robe that was hanging in the corner of the room. She wrapped herself up tightly, and just stood there for a moment going over everything once more. Eventually, she stepped into the bedroom and went to the closet to get some clothes.

She froze seeing the door was slightly ajar. She didn't dare open it the rest of the way. She trembled as she recalled what Rotham had said about being in the closet. He...he had watched her and Liam together, without them realizing it! Her stomach boiled over and she rushed back to the bathroom, vomiting in the toilet.

When she had nothing left, she sat on the floor and clung to her robe. Slowly, she moved to sit in the corner of the room, so she could see the doorway. She rocked herself trying to calm down but she was so afraid. She was afraid Rotham had snuck back into the closet while she was in her bath. She worried he might pop out at any moment and attack her again. She didn't want to leave the bathroom.

She sat there getting colder and colder until she shivered. Her heart skipped a beat as she heard someone knock at the bedroom door. Had she locked it? She couldn't remember! A second later it creaked open. Her eyes shot wide. How could she have forgotten to lock it! Maybe she hadn't! Maybe they had a key?! They...he...Rotham!

She saw a shadow fall across the bedroom floor then heard someone whispering, "Shyla? Are you still up? Shyla?" The shadow drew closer to the bathroom doorway. "Shyla, are you in there?

She didn't respond her entire body immobile with fear. She shut her eyes, hoping it wasn't Rotham. She vowed never to let him touch her again but in this moment she couldn't- She couldn't- Someone suddenly reached out grabbing her shoulders. She screamed then opened her eyes to see it was Liam. He looked worried. She quietly stared at him, unable to speak or think.

"Shyla! What's wrong? You're freezing! Did you take a bath?" He turned to look at the dirty water. She hadn't drained it. She'd just left it. He turned back to her furrowing his brow. "Shyla answer me! What's wrong? What's happened?" She still didn't say anything. Liam grabbed a towel and wrapped it around her head, trying to dry her hair and warm her up, "Come on Shyla, answer me. I'm worried. Should I get a doctor?"

She looked at Liam. It took her as second to catch up, her mind starting up once more. She thought about what he'd asked her and got upset. Rotham had said, if she'd said anything, he would make her life a living hell. He had the money and resources to do it. She didn't want him to get away with this but...but she needed time to think...to look at what her best options were. Now was not the time to decide.

"No." she said, finally speaking. She reached out to Liam hugging him. "I don't need a doctor. I just need you to hold me."

Liam froze for a second, even more worried about her but he wrapped his arms around her. Shyla was usually pretty independent but he could see she was hurting right now. Her skin looked all red and she had some bruises on her knees. Today must have been harder on her then he thought. He knew he'd fallen down a lot, when he'd first learned how to ski. His brother must have really put her through it, which pissed him off even more. Why did his family have to treat everyone he cared about so poorly. He knew her current condition was his fault. He never should have brought her.

Without another word he lifted Shyla up and carried her into the bedroom. He took the towel from her head and said, "Let's get you dressed, then I think you should lay down. I'll stay with you until you fall asleep. Maybe in the morning you'll feel better."

"I want to feel better." said Shyla, weakly.

Liam checked her forehead for a temperature before opening the closet. Shyla cringed, still worried that Rotham might step out, but there was no one inside. Liam picked out some pajama bottoms and a tank top before he found her some underwear. He set them all down on the bed, then went to shut the closet door.

Shyla stood up and cried out, "No, don't close it! Keep it open!" She didn't think she would be able to sleep if it was closed.

Liam nodded, raising his hands in consolation. "Alright, calm down. It's alright."

Shyla quickly took the clothes into the bathroom and got dressed, hoping Liam hadn't noticed her cuts and bruises. She didn't want him to ask any more questions. She was afraid she might say something. Once she was dressed, she went to the bed, and pulled back the sheets. She didn't want to speak anymore tonight. She crawled into the bed still in a state of shock, she hoped to forget everything that had happened tonight. No! She wanted to forget this entire weekend.

As her head hit the pillow she felt so ashamed. Liam cleaned up her towel and the bathroom, making sure the tub was drained, before he turned off the lights and crawled into bed next to her. He reached out of her and she jumped at his touch. Again she felt ashamed, she felt like she had cheated on him with his brother. She thought of what Rotham had said. How his family would always take his side. Even Liam, because of how he felt about escort and the fact that Rotham and Liam would always be brothers. That thought absolutely terrified her now.

No matter what happened...if she stayed with Liam, Rotham would always be a part of their lives. Even if they moved far, far away, she could not avoid the fact that they shared the same blood. Shyla cried out, trying not to think about it right now. She couldn't bear to think of waking up in the morning and all that was to come after. It scared her to think she might see Rotham again, at breakfast or that he might come to her room at any point...worse... what if he followed them home! He knew her real name now! He could easily find out where she lived and went to college...everything. He could get her at any point. She knew her life was never going to be the same. She curled up tightly, rocking herself.

Liam laid a few inches away, in bed, noticing her strange behavior. He heard her crying and rocking. After a moment he asked, "Did they say something to you? I swear, if Rotham upset you, I'll kill him."

"No, no, nothing's wrong Liam. I just don't feel good." lied Shyla.

"Really? Are you sure? I'm sorry, I'm bugging you, I'm just worried." said Liam, rolling over onto his back. "It's just... I have this feeling that someone might have upset you. That maybe, I upset you somehow."

"No." said Shyla quietly. "I just got sick after dinner and playing the game. It's why, I was in the bathroom so long."

"Do you think it was something we ate earlier? I mean, we did get those pretzels and you said yours tasted weird." said Liam.

"Maybe. But as I recall, you finished yours and mine. So wouldn't you be sicker then me" said Shyla.

"Yeah, I guess your right." said Liam with a sigh. "I just wish there was something I could do for you."

Shyla laid still for a very long moment. There was nothing he or anyone could do right now, to make her feel better…unless he were to put a bullet in Rotham's head. That might make her feel somewhat better. She sniffled feeling sick...with the situation and herself. For nearly an hour she laid there with her eyes open, curled up in a tight ball, staring into the endless darkness.

She heard Liam as he started to snore. She used to love listening to him as she snuggled up against him. It always felt great. Shyla curled up to him now, hoping to feel anything other then this agony. He sleepily put his arm around her and she didn't pull away. She wanted to feel safe. She needed to feel safe! Yet she felt anything but as she shivered. She just couldn't seem to get warm. It felt like it took forever but eventually she drifted off to sleep, seeing shadows where her dreams should be.

She kept seeing Rotham...leering at her... grinning over her. She tried to get away, to run, but the house...mansion, became an elaborate maze. She ran down endless halls, pounding and pulling on countless doors. Sometimes she'd be able to open a door but it was always the same room…the office. Rotham was waiting for her hungry and devoid of mercy. He turned into a shadowy beast that sought to consume her. He whispered in her ear that there would be no escape. He wrapped his hand around her neck and then took her from behind. She could feel it...feel everything as if it were happening all over again.

Shyla woke up in a cold sweat. She had no idea what time it was and for a blissful moment, she forgot where she was and what had happened. She sat up as it came flooding back to her, like a waking nightmare. Her body was sore and she felt beyond exhausted. For a few seconds, she just sat there staring off into the darkness off the room. Then she turned and noticed Liam was gone.

She ran her hand over the bed, where he'd been laying, then heard a rustling sound. Her heart dropped...someone was in the room... frightened she called out, "Who's there?"
Liam reached out to her and she screamed for a second, not knowing it was him "Relax, it's just me."

"Liam." she trembled, "Oh Liam!" She wrapped her arms around him happy it was him. It was Liam! Not Rotham! Liam! He turned on a small lamp that was on the nightstand, beside the bed, and she saw her suitcase was on the end of the bed. She looked at it curiously, then turned to him and asked, "What are you doing?"

"Packing. We're getting out of here first thing in the morning!"

"What!" said Shyla the hope in her voice was very apparently. "Really!"

"Yeah, I figure we're leaving today anyway, might as well leave first thing. I mean you're not feeling well and all. I figure we could be back by this afternoon and you could get better at home."

Shyla reached out to him and nearly fell off the bed but he caught her. "What is it?

Shyla grabbed his head with both her hands and kissed him. She was so happy! They weren't suppose to be leaving until this afternoon, now they might be home by then! Maybe even sooner if...if she could get Liam to consider leaving right now! She really didn't want to see Rotham at breakfast or ever again!

"Oh, I wish we could leave right now!"

Liam looked at his watch and pointed out. "It's only four in the morning. We should at least wait another few hours, for sunrise."

Shyla sat back on the bed, sniffling. "I know, I know but I would really like to get back and honestly, I've had enough of your family. I'm sorry."
"No," he said. "It's okay." He tussled her hair, then let out a heavy sigh.

He could see she really was upset and that this WAS more then just a cold. His family had no doubt done something to upset her. He knew how they could get and kicked himself for bringing her here, in the first place. Yet some part of him hoped things would go better this time. He really, really liked Shyla and wanted his family to as well.

Of course when had they ever liked any of the girls he'd brought back but Shyla was so different, from any of the other girls he'd dated. There was something about her, something he had hoped his family would also be able to see. He sighed again, then said "Let me get my things and leave a note so they don't worry. Can you get dressed?"

Shyla nodded and Liam brushed a strand of loose hair behind her ear. "I'll be back in fifteen minutes, alright?"

"Alright!" She said.

They leaned in for a quick kiss and then he left. Shyla sat there for a moment, then ran her fingers through her hair and got to work. She quickly got out of bed and turned on the lights. She put on her coat and shoes and was dressed as far as she was concerned. She looked around the room, making sure he hadn't forgotten anything then went through her suitcase. She repacked it a bit so everything would fit and noticed her favorite sex toy was missing.

She thought she'd left it by the sink but it wasn't there. She realized she might have left it in the bed, but again, she didn't find it. She look all over the room, then froze, realizing Rotham must have seen her masturbating, after Liam had left. She let out a gasp and closed her eyes feeling even more ashamed. She put her hand to her mouth and thought she was going to be sick again. She- When she had done that she'd thought she'd been alone, but she hadn't been! Anger boiled up within her…that sick fuck had probably taken it, after she'd left the room. Either way, whether he had it or not she didn't want to stay in this room, in this fucking mansion a moment longer!

She grabbed her bag then made her way to the front door. She figured Liam would check for her there, when he didn't find her in the room. The house felt so eerie, in the dark, and it was oh so quiet now. The halls began to feel endless like in her nightmare. She kept expecting Rotham to open every door she passed and grab her.

She let out a sigh of relief when she finally got to the stairs. It was still pretty dark, but there was some dim lighting, that helped her navigate. She quickly rushed down the stairs and stood in front of the door. There was a large light that was still on. The brightness brought her some comfort but she was half tempted to wait outside. However knew she might freeze to death before Liam found her. She wished she had a set of his keys, then maybe she could have waited in the car, but she doubted he would check outside for her.

She heard a creak and turned, hoping it was Liam. It wasn't! To her horror she saw Rotham standing at the top of the stairs, in a long black robe. His hair was messy. "What are you doing up?"

Shyla froze not saying anything. She didn't know what to do. Should she run outside or scream? Would Liam be able to get to her in time? Then what? What would she say? What if everything blew up!

When she failed to respond, Rotham got upset. He walked down several steps, demanding she answer him. "I said what are you doing up? Answer me when I speak to you! Do you have any idea what time it is?"

He was getting closer but Shyla couldn't move. She couldn't speak. She nearly wet herself as he adjusted his glasses and took another step down. "SHYLA!"

She hated hearing her name come from his lips, but managed to do something. She stumbled back and nearly fell over as she pleaded. "Please! I didn't say anything to anyone. I'm going home!"

"Not at four in the morning!" Rotham snapped. He would decide when they would go home.

He dropped down another step and she nearly screamed, when suddenly Liam popped around the corner.

"Oh good you're up!" said Liam, approaching the top of the staircase. Just as Shyla assumed, when Liam hadn't found her in the room, he figured she'd gone to the front door. He was surprised to see Rotham up, but not as surprised as Rotham seemed to be.

Rotham turned midway on the stairs, to look up at him. "Liam, what are you doing up?"

"We're leaving." said Liam. "I was gonna leave a note, but since you're up, can you just tell mom and dad we left, in the morning."

"You're leaving, now! Why?" said Rotham before looking back to Shyla.

Rotham hadn't noticed her bag. He'd been too focused on her. Just a moment ago, he'd been on his way to 'check on her,' when he spotted her walking down the hall. He wondered what she was up to, but understood now. She was trying to escape once more. That wasn't going to happen, not now, nor ever again!

"Shyla's not feeling well, and I've got some things I need to do, when we get back." said Liam walking down the stairs. He passed Rotham as he continued, "And it's a long drive, might as well get a start on it, first thing."

Rotham licked his tongue over the top row of his teeth as he listened to his brother, then said. "First thing is not four in the morning! You were drinking, not even a few hours ago. You're probably still drunk and in no condition to drive, especially not in the dark, on mountain roads! It could be snowing and there might be black ice."

"Since when do you care about my wellbeing." said Liam, a bit surprised.

Rotham paused for a second, then awkwardly added, "You are my brother."

"Since when has that ever mattered?" asked Liam. He raised an eyebrow and looked back at his brother. He thought Rotham had to be tired or caught whatever his kids had. Rotham open his mouth to speak then shut it, thinking. Liam couldn't help but scoff, and shake his head as he continued down the stairs. When he got to the bottom, he added, "Thanks but I should be able to mange."

"I can't let you!" said Rotham taking a step down. Shyla's heart skipped a beat as she thought can't or wont! She was scared he was going to do something, even with Liam here. "It's too dangerous! Wait until morning. Please! I'll stay up with you. We'll have cocoa. And in the morning, we'll all drive back together."

"We don't even live in the same place." said Liam getting weirded out. He'd never seen his brother act like this. "It would be out of your way. I'll see you in a few months, maybe. Don't forget to tell mom and dad and oh, say goodbye to Petra and the kids for us."

"LIAM!"shouted Rotham. Though he shouted his brother's name he was staring at Shyla, a sudden desperation in his eyes. She turned away, opening the door to go outside. A gust of wind blew in, chilling her, but she would gladly take the chilling winds, over another second with Rotham.

"WHAT!" said Liam turning back to look at his brother once more. "You're gonna wake the whole house."

Rotham looked at Liam, then back to Shyla, taking another step. Shyla could see him scheming, no doubt trying to find some way to keep them here. She grasped hold of Liam's arm and coughed, "Liam."

Liam turned his attention to her and she gave him a desperate look of her own. "It's okay." He assured her. Then turned back to Rotham, yet again, and made it clear, "We're leaving." Rotham didn't say anything. Liam took Shyla's bag, and she went to follow him outside, but he stopped her, "No wait here. I don't want your cold to get any worse I'll bring the care around."

Before she could say anything he rushed off. It was snowing out, and though there were lights on, at the front of the house, the parking lot's lights were off. Liam quickly disappeared into the dark, and she was left holding the front door, with Rotham at her back. She turned, and the two locked eyes as he made it to the bottom of the stairs.

She couldn't tell what was colder the look in his eyes or the weather outside. She swallowed as he slowly slinked up to her and hissed. "Damn it Shyla! What the fuck are you trying to do? Get my only brother killed?"

"Don't come near me!" Shyla cried.

She let go of the door, planning to dart outside, yet Rotham grabbed hold of her arm as she turned to run. He yanked her inside, slammed the door shut, then forced her against the wall next to the door. He held her wrist so tightly it felt like he was going to break it. She cried out, and slid down the wall, to the floor.

Rotham towered over her, and glared at her with such hatred as he ordered, "I want you to tell him you changed your mind. You don't want to leave until much later, after the roads have been salted and its safe to travel."

"NO!" Shyla cried.

Rotham violently jerked her to her feet, a bit harder then he'd intended. An audible snap could be heard, and pain radiated through Shyla's wrist. She cried out, but he didn't let up on her, twisting her arm about as he forced her to look at him.

He hissed, "Do you really want to get away from me that badly? That you can't wait?"

"YES!" Shyla, painfully screamed. "I HATE YOU!"

Rotham studied her, his gaze shifting back and forth as he took in every bit of her. Even though he was furious with her, his heart was pounding in his chest. She looked more breathtaking than ever, her eyes mixed with fear and hate. He would take her again, right here and now, if it wasn't certain that he would be caught. His loins ached for the need of her, to be buried balls deep, in her intoxicating warmth. He grew even more anger that she could evoke such emotion in him, given how furious he was.

He longed to kiss her and take her breath away as she did his, but instead, he slapped her across the face. Her head flung to the side, and he took some gratification in knowing he'd caused her pain. Given all the pain she had caused him and was still causing him. She kept her head to the side for a moment, then turned back to face him, once one. Her eyes were so full of such spite and defiance. He could not control himself this time. Without warning, he smashed his lips against to hers, in a deep passionate, possessive kiss. After a few seconds, he bit down on her lip, it was so soft and inviting, he could understand why she was always biting it.

When he pulled away, Shyla looked at him with such disgust. He ran his trembling fingers through her hair. He'd never been so engrossed in a person, nor a moment, in all his life. He pinned her body against the wall with his own, and made sure she could feel the stiffness, she was causing him. Even with her coat on, she could feel something pressing against her belly. She madly whimpered and he licked the side of her face with delight.

He brought his lips up to her ear, then whispered, "You don't hate me, Shyla."

"I do," she gasped trembling against him.

"You wanted it. You wanted me," said Rotham.

"No," Shyla whimpered. "I wanted your money. I never wanted you."

"No," said Rotham studying her once again. "I know you wanted me. No whore cums like that from money alone. You felt it, our connection. You felt what we have, you and I. I knew it from the moment I saw you, and you knew it from the moment I took you. What we have is something special. Something that can't be denied."

"I felt nothing," she lie. "It's called acting."

He chuckled, a deep menacing chuckle that shook low in his belly. She could feel it moving against her. "You can lie to yourself, but you can't lie to me."

"It was just a business, honestly. A means to an end. I needed the money for college, to survive, nothing more."

"Nothing more, nothing more... You used me to make all your troubles go away." He smiled, far more than anyone should be able to. His lips curving up on both sides, before he continued, "I can still make all your troubles go away. I can do that. Whatever it takes to be with you."

Shyla shook her head. "You can't make my troubles go away! You can't undo what you did to me! I don't want to be with you! I want nothing to do with you!"

Rotham suddenly grabbed her neck, with his other hand, and put his thumb against her throat. "I can make all your troubles go away, Shyla, or I can make all your troubles." He slid his thumb painfully up and down her neck. She was sure he was going to crush her throat. He could do that! He could fucking snap her neck, if he wanted to, and there wasn't a thing she could do. She felt more powerless then ever.

"I know you now," said Rotham with a sigh, "There isn't anywhere you can go, anywhere you can hide, from me. Think about that Shyla. Think about it long and hard. You don't hate me. You don't want to hate me. You don't want to upset someone like me, trust me."

Several tears escaped her eyes, and streamed down her face. Rotham removed his hand from her neck, taking one of her tears up on his fingertips. He brought it to his mouth and tasted it. He smiled at her and drew in closer, like he was going to kiss her again, but a horn suddenly honked from outside. It was Liam! She looked at Rotham, knowing how close she was to getting away.

She tried to be strong, if only for a moment and spat, "You have to let me go!"

Rotham looked at her, knowing he didn't have to do anything, but it would be better, if he could take care of this later...quietly. He didn't want to cause a big fuss, should she wake up the entire house. He told himself it didn't matter where she went, she would not get far. By tonight, she would be chained to his bed, and he would show no mercy. She had brought this on herself, and would not see the light of day again, until he'd put her in her place. After tonight, she would not defy, nor deny him ever again. She would be his complete. He smiled knowing he would savor the moment, when it dawned on her that there was no escape.

He let out a heavy sigh, then let go of her. "For now but you still owe me and-"

Shyla didn't wait for him to finish his sentence. She quickly slid along the wall, to the door, then scrambled to open it. She practically threw herself down the front steps. She went so fast that she slipped on some ice. She nearly fell, but he was there to catch her.

He steadied her, then whispered in her ear, finishing his sentence, "I plan to collect!"

She'd heard this before, but a chill ran up her spine just the same. She whimpered as Liam got out of the car. He'd parked it just in front of the house. Rotham reluctantly let go of Shyla, and she wobbled down the rest of the stairs, moving slowly. She wasn't worried about falling so much as Rotham touching her again.

Rotham pulled back on the stairs, adjusting his robe as the wind picked up. He didn't mind the cold. It gave him a nice distraction, from his aching heart. He groaned as he watched Liam get the door for Shyla. Every step she took put that much more distance between them. He did not like it!

Shyla got inside the car, and Liam shut her door, before running around the front of the car. With some decent distance between them, Shyla glared at Rotham. He simply smiled back at her. Then called out to his brother. "DRIVE SAFE NOW AND DON'T TAKE ANY RISKS. I'LL SEE YOU SOON!"

Again Liam didn't know what was going on with Rotham. He usually didn't see him off or say such things. Liam raised an eyebrow as he stepped up to his door and awkwardly called out, "OKAY!"

Liam got in, then drove the car out of his families parking lot. He pulled onto the side road and Rotham stood outside the entire time, watching them for as long as he could. Even when he could no longer see the lights of Liam's car he glared at where it had been. She would not get away from him again!
